Welcome to the Veterans History Museum
The Veterans History Museum preserves and shares the compelling stories of America’s service members through original artifacts, personal accounts, and thoughtfully curated exhibits.
Located at 3331 Tamiami Trail E, Naples, FL 34112, the Veterans History Museum offers many compelling stories of our country’s veterans through military artifacts from the Revolutionary War, War of 1812, the Civil War, World War I, World War II, and the Korean, Vietnam, and Gulf wars.
Previously housed at the Naples Airport—which was originally built by the Army Corps of Engineers during WWII to train pilots for the Pacific theater—the museum continues its mission of honoring service members through rich historical displays and firsthand accounts.
At the museum, visitors can explore more than 6,000 historical artifacts dating from 1775 to the present. Artifacts such as printed materials (letters, books, drawings and posters), weapons, uniforms, medals, ribbons and models have been generously donated by veterans
and their families.
Our Collection
Visitors can explore military artifacts spanning more than two centuries from the Revolutionary War, War of 1812, and the Civil War through World Wars I and II, and the Korean, Vietnam, and Gulf wars. The collection includes a rotation of over 6000 letters, books, drawings, posters, uniforms, medals, ribbons, weapons, and scale models, many donated by veterans and their families.

The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (closed on federal holidays), and admission is free.
